How do I utilise Schoolslm’s free marketing and promotional support?

Schoolslm offers 100% free marketing and promotional support for those hiring our school facilities, including free flyer design, social media promotion and e-marketing campaigns. If you hire an Schoolslm schools and would benefit from this support please speak to your School Leisure and Sport Manager support for more details.

How do I complain?

As a company we pride ourselves on serving the needs of our schools and hirers, through outstanding customer service and a rapid response to their needs and issues. If you are unhappy with any element of your experience at an SLS school please email info@schoolslm.co.uk, outlining the details of your complaint and the school you have hired and one of our management team will respond to your issue within a 48 hour period.

How do I modify or cancel my Schoolslm facility hire?

Again, all SLS schools have a School Leisure and Sport Manager and they are the only person who can modify or cancel your booking. To find out the contact details for the SLS Manager you’d like to speak to for the school near you please visit the ‘Find a Venue’ tab at the top of the website.

How do I pay for my Schoolslm facility hire?

Schoolskm’s preferred method of payment is Go Cardless – a secure, cashless payment option protected by Direct Debit guarantee. Payment can also be made by cheque but BACS, CHAPS and cash payments are unfortunately not accepted. All details on payments are sent to our facility hirers once their booking is completed, terms and conditions apply to all payments and payment terms.

How do I book an Schoolslm facility?

What about site security?

Our staff patrol the school facilities and premises on a regular basis to ensure the site is secure. We also use electronic lone worker devices which are worn at all times and monitored by our partner security company and senior staff who respond to activated emergency alerts and call outs.

How is safeguarding and insurance dealt with?

All staff are fully trained to specific NSPCC safeguarding guidelines and hold an enhanced DBS check. Before the use of any facilities all clients must complete and sign our safeguarding agreement and conditions of use, as well as providing any public liability insurance documents.

Will we be kept informed of who’s using our facilities and what activities are taking place?

Yes, our schools know on a daily basis who’s in and what’s on during the lettings, via our online interactive website. All schools have full access to this and receive a fortnightly rota of which staff are onsite. We also work alongside our schools to produce a lettings development plan at the beginning of their partnership with Schoolslm.

What if we require the school facilities for our own events such as parent’s evenings and school productions?

Our schools come first policy means that there is never an occasion when a school are unable to access their own facilities –the lettings are simply re-scheduled.

What if we already generate our level of lettings income?

Very simply over the last 4 years Schoolslm has never failed to give a school more income than it’s ever generated from lettings before. In many cases we can contractually guarantee a fixed amount so schools always gain and never lose lettings income.

How much does it cost a school to work with Schoolslm?

From initial meeting through to us managing your lettings there are no costs attached to working with Schoolslm due to our unique income split system.
